When we’re starting out on a plant-based or vegan weight loss journey there is so much information to read and take in that sometimes it can be totally overwhelming and we give up before we’ve even begun. Therefore, to help you get started with your weight loss efforts I have pulled together a list of 14 delicious, low calorie and vegan main meal recipes for you to choose from.
That’s enough to see you through the first two weeks of your weight loss journey! I have added some notes and tips to help you make the most of these recipes.

Super Quick Vegan Black Bean Burgers
Say whaaaat?? Yep, that’s right there’s a burger in this list! The good news is the approximate nutritional values per serving are: Calories 105; Total Fat 1.1g; Carbohydrates 19.3g; Fibre 4.3g; Protein 4.8g WW SmartPoints = 1. The bad news is these figures do not include the bun (boo!). You can skip the bun and instead have your burger with a 150g baked potato for an additional 212 Calories; 0.6g Total Fat; 49.7 Carbohydrates; 4.6g Fibre; 6.1g Protein WW SmartPoints = 4.
