Hello, I’m sorry it’s been so long since I last posted! I’ve decided to make a few changes but more on that later. First, let me tell you about how I’ve gotten on since my last weigh-in.
Weigh-in Results
After managing to reach my 1 stone goal before my birthday at the end of November I managed to stay the same up to Christmas – Huzzah! Although it might have been nice to have lost a little more before Christmas I was very pleased with this result a I managed to fit into the dress I had bought for the office Christmas party.
I only managed to put on 1 lb over Christmas week which is great! However, my parents cooked Christmas Dinner this year so the main reason for such a small gain was that I didn’t have loads of left-overs to contend with!
Don’t get me wrong, I still have lots of goodies to eat up and because of that I’m not going to worry too much about getting back on plan until next week.
What is new for Vegan Recipes for Weight Loss?
Recently I’ve been feeling like this blog has been more about me and not enough about you! One of my reasons for starting this blog in the first place was to share the weight loss hints and tips I’ve learned over the years. While I try to include some of these in my weigh-in posts I don’t feel it’s been enough. Therefore, from now on, I will be writing a monthly weight loss review instead. This will free up some of my time for writing some helpful articles.
You’ll still be able to get news on my weekly weigh-in results but I’ll be posting them to my Instagram and Facebook pages.
Review your goals
You know how the saying goes, New Year New You. If you haven’t already done so, now would be a great time to go back and review your goals and motivation for the next month.
It hit me today that my son will be graduating from University in June this year (Yikes! where have the last three years gone!!). I would very much like to lose another stone at least by then.
With six months to go that is a long-term goal. So to break that down into smaller, more manageable goals – this month I’m going to concentrate on upping my activity levels. My aim is to go from zero to 2 short workouts a week.
What goals will you be setting yourself this month?
Whatever you get up to, have a good week!
