Weekly Weigh-in Results
My second weekly weigh-in has come around fast! How did I do? Drum roll please (drrrrrrrr….)
2lbs ON! ARrrgghhh!
*sigh* Ok so lets look at what went wrong.
What happened this week
This week has been very hard for me, I’ve been craving carbs, especially in the form of sugar. But after all of my chat about tracking everything you eat no matter what, I’m afraid to say I only tracked for the first two days then it all went out of the window and I’ve certainly paid the price!
In my opinion, the second week is always the hardest of any healthy eating plan (well, I would say that wouldn’t I lol). The first week we are full of fire and determination but by the second (or sometimes third) week keeping up with all the new habits we’re trying to introduce actually becomes quite hard.
At this point I would normally be giving up completely. However, the whole point of my writing this blog was to keep me accountable so that I don’t give up. I want to share with you all the ups as well as the downs and hopefully help you to avoid the pitfalls or at the very least, if this kind of pattern sounds familiar to you, I will show you that you are not alone.
Plan for next week
However tempting it is to slide back into my comfort zone I need to look back at my reasons for starting this journey and get right back on the horse!
What am I going to do to turn it around for next week? It’s time to get back to tracking people!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, keeping a food diary really does go a long way to improve our weight loss efforts. This coming week I will be making an extra effort to write everything down.
