Weekly Weigh-in Results
I have had a MUCH better week and back where I should be with the tracking, therefore I am pleased to report…..
3.5lbs OFF! Huzzah!
What happened this week
Well, I’d been humming and harring about whether or not to rejoin Weight Watchers. At first I wanted to try to go it alone but, following my disastrous 2nd week, I decided to take the plunge and joined Weight Watchers Online.
Why Weight Watchers? As you probably know Weight Watchers worked for me before and have been the only slimming plan to ever work for me. Weight Watchers offers two plans the Flex where you have a daily and weekly Smart Points value to stick to; and the No Count where you have a weekly points allowance and a list of food items you can eat without tracking the points. Then you only track the Smart Points value of any food items that don’t appear on that list.
The first time I lost weight I found that I need the flexibility of the Flex plan (or the Points plan as it was back then) so that is what I will be following this time too.
Weight Watchers Online allows you to download an app to your phone, the app has an inbuilt scanner so you can scan the barcode on items to find out what the Smart Points are before you put it in your shopping bag – pretty handy.
Because I have joined Weight Watchers I am changing the blog slightly and will now be including the saturated fats and carbs from sugars information as well as the Weight Watchers Smart Points values for all recipes. I am also going to make it easier to search for recipes according to the Smart Points value or by calories per serving. I hope this will help you on your weight loss journey regardless of whether you are just cutting down on calories or are also following the Weight Watchers plan.
The week ahead
There is a potential hazard coming up this week as I have a housewarming party to go to. I shall have to plan ahead and make sure I eat some low calorie/low smart point foods during the day.
Let me know in the comments if you’ve decided to join a slimming club and which one you’ve chosen, I’d love to hear how you’ve been getting on.
Have a good week
